People may not realize this, but after a fire in the kitchen,  items even within the cabinets can be covered with smoke and soot. 

Personal items such as family heirlooms can appear to be completely ruined after a fire. This is something that we run into a lot at SERVPRO of West Evansville. A family will call us with devastation in their voices as they describe something with no monetary value but the highest of all value sentimentally. A family heirloom. Nothing brings us great joy than to restore that piece back to new and give the person their family history back.
